Expedited Shipping Info
Expedited shipping is available for customers who need their products sooner. Please note the following when choosing an expedited shipping method:

  • Miller CAT provides the option for expedited shipping, but is only a pass-through for additional charges. We do not make any money off of this service.
  • When calculating your possible receive date, keep in mind that shipping services do not ship on weekends or holidays.
  • Orders received after 1:00pm PST may not ship until the next business day.
  • Due to COVID and the high volume of shipments, carriers are not always able to meet their target shipping times. Please understand that we have no control over shipment tracking or times after the product leaves our facilities.
  • If you live in California or on the West Coast, you may not need expedited shipping. UPS ground service can typically reach your destination in 1-2 business days.

Note: We ask that you carefully review vehicle compatibility and other product/install information before making your purchase. Help us reduce the possibility of returns as much as possible and reduce the carbon footprint of these shields, as they are large and expensive to ship.

We have a 90-day manufacturer's warranty against defects from the manufacturing process. This covers issues that prevent the proper installation or performance of the product.

Cosmetic imperfections that occur either from the manufacturing or shipping process are not covered. We do not manufacture cosmetic products or ones designed for show. Any undercar product will quickly gain scratches and scuffs due to the location of the product and proximity to the road.

We do NOT guarantee our product against theft. Cat Shields are a deterrence device that are meant to discourage theft and/or make it more difficult for thieves to steal your converter. Given the right tools, technique or time, a thief can still take your converter. However, by having a shield, you are significantly increasing your protection against converter theft. Similar to a car or home alarm, you are making thieves second-guess themselves and consider moving onto another target. Deterrence works and we have countless customer accounts and video evidence of derailed converter theft.

Will the shield interfere with maintenance such as engine oil and transmission fluid changes?

All Miller CAT Cat Shields will not interfere with your oil changes. Some vehicles will require the shield to be removed for transmission fluid changes. Check your maintenance schedule on how frequently to change your transmission fluid. For Toyota vehicles, Toyota's recommendation is 30-60k miles and 60-100k miles depending on your vehicle and driving habits.

Does this shield cause the converter to overheat?

No, our shields will not cause overheating or damage to your vehicle. In addition to shields, we manufacture catalytic converters, so we know how to protect them without damaging the converter or your vehicle. Read about this in more detail.

How long does it take to ship?

We know you can’t wait long to protect your converters when theft is so rampant. Here at Miller CAT, our shields are made to stock and ready to ship. Unlike many other companies that make shields to order, we fulfill orders in 1-2 business days and if possible, on the same day.

Our Fitment Guarantee: While we do our best to test and verify every model, it is impossible to know for sure. We guarantee that if your vehicle is listed on the fitment table and you purchased the right shield for your vehicle but the shield does not fit, we will issue a full refund including return shipping on the product. The vehicle must have the original converter and no modifications to the suspension. Great Product and Packaging

Everything was packaged nicely and protected. Even the stickers on the box were perfectly aligned! The shield was easy to install on my 2022 Tacoma TRD offroad. It took a little more than an hour to get it installed by myself and was not difficult. The finish of the shield is very good, and the cuts and bends are top notch. I bought the aluminum version which kept it light weight, but I would have liked it to be a little thicker to make it a bit stronger. I really recommend this product because these cats on Tacoma's are so easy to get to by crawling underneath with a sawzall.

Great quality, and fits well.

I am very pleased with the shield. Fit and finish are great! Hopefully it will never be needed but its cheap insurance. My only complaint is the way you have to start the three font screws through the crossmember to the threaded plate on top of the crossmember.

Confusing Order Options

I ordered what I thought would fit my 2018 Taco TRD off-road 4x4. I couldn’t actually find the selection on the order page that showed 4x4 with the above trim. The closest thing to four-wheel-drive was “RWD” which I assumed simply meant rear wheel drive 🤷🏼‍♂️
So assuming I had the right cat, I took it out of the box and started placing it, just to find out that it was for a 2WD. I didn’t want to re-order and have to wait, so I broke out the hand-grinder, and made it work. And then realized that one of the nut driver bits was the incorrect one, so I had to wait for them to send me the correct one. The whole thing could’ve gone smoother, but the order page was just simply confusing. Other than all that, the stainless steel shield is quite sturdy and a good quality design.

Reassurance and a great company

I travel often and at times may not be in the safest of locations. Knowing that I have some protection that can deter criminals makes parking less worrisome. The company is also very responsive and will respond to questions concerns and needs. I was in need of a third mounting screw and they sent it immediately. I have had no problems with this product or company. I was worried about heat build up but I have had no problems with that either. I am in Texas and have driven IH-35 from central from Texas to San Antonio during later half of the day on a weekly basis and also in the summer leaving work with no issues. If you have driven in San Antonio anywhere after 3pm in the summer months you know what I am talking about.

Love it!!

The order took a few days to get here, which blew me away, because most big orders take weeks! The install went smoothly, but it wood be easier with two people. We couldn’t be more pleased with this product.
