Expedited shipping

Expedited shipping is available at checkout. Miller CAT passes through carrier charges at cost — we do not mark up expedited shipping. Keep in mind:

• Shipping services do not operate on weekends or holidays
• Orders placed after 1:00 PM CST may not ship until the next business day

International orders

Returns

We have a 30-day return window for unused, uninstalled products in original packaging. Returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%. CAT SHIELD — WARRANTY INFORMATION

90-day manufacturer's warranty

Cat Shields carry a 90-day warranty against defects that prevent proper installation or function. Warranty requires proof of purchase from an authorized retailer (millercat.com or Amazon).

What's not covered

• Surface appearance — please read before purchasing. Cat Shields are raw stainless steel and aluminum components. They are not painted, powder coated, or finished. Mill marks, minor scratches, surface oxidation, and manufacturing residue are inherent characteristics of these materials and are present on every unit we ship. This is expected and normal. Products that show these characteristics are not defective and are not eligible for a return or warranty claim.
• Damage from improper installation, road debris, or modification
• Labor, diagnostics, or incidental costs

Theft deterrence

Cat Shields are a deterrence device designed to significantly increase the difficulty of converter theft — not to make it impossible. Given enough time and tools, a determined thief may still succeed. We have extensive customer accounts and video evidence of derailed theft attempts.

Will the shield interfere with maintenance such as engine oil and transmission fluid changes?

All Miller CAT Cat Shields will not interfere with your oil changes. Some vehicles will require the shield to be removed for transmission fluid changes. Check your maintenance schedule on how frequently to change your transmission fluid. For Toyota vehicles, Toyota's recommendation is 30-60k miles and 60-100k miles depending on your vehicle and driving habits.

Does this shield cause the converter to overheat?

No, our shields will not cause overheating or damage to your vehicle. In addition to shields, we manufacture catalytic converters, so we know how to protect them without damaging the converter or your vehicle. Read about this in more detail.

How long does it take to ship?

We know you can’t wait long to protect your converters when theft is so rampant. Here at Miller CAT, our shields are made to stock and ready to ship. Unlike many other companies that make shields to order, we fulfill orders in 1-2 business days and if possible, on the same day.
