MCX products carry a 90-day warranty against defects that prevent proper installation or function. Warranty requires proof of purchase from an authorized retailer (millercat.com or Amazon).
What's not covered
- Surface appearance — please read before purchasing. MCX products are raw stainless steel and aluminum components. They are not painted, powder coated, or finished. Mill marks, minor scratches, surface oxidation, and manufacturing residue are inherent characteristics of these materials and are present on every unit we ship. This is expected and normal. Will the skid plate interfere with maintenance such as engine oil and transmission fluid changes?
All Miller CAT MCX Skid Plates will not interfere with your oil changes. Some vehicles will require the skid plate to be removed for transmission fluid changes. Check your maintenance schedule on how frequently to change your transmission fluid. Toyota's recommendation is 30-60k miles and 60-100k miles depending on your vehicle and driving habits.
Does this skid plate cause the converter to overheat?
No, our skid plates will not cause overheating or damage to your vehicle.
