Free ground shipping to the lower 48 states. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes. Orders usually fulfill in a few business days.

Expedited shipping

Expedited shipping is available at checkout. Miller CAT passes through carrier charges at cost — we do not mark up expedited shipping. Keep in mind:

  • Shipping services do not operate on weekends or holidays
  • Orders placed after 1:00 PM CST may not ship until the next business day

International orders

Returns

We have a 30-day return window for unused, uninstalled products in original packaging. Returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%. Please verify vehicle compatibility before purchasing — these products are large and expensive to ship, and every return has an environmental cost. View our full return policy.

CAN BUS SHIELD — WARRANTY INFORMATION

90-day manufacturer's warranty

The MCPROTECTED CAN Bus Shield carries a 90-day warranty against defects that prevent proper installation or function. Warranty requires proof of purchase from an authorized retailer (millercat.com or Amazon). Purchases made through unauthorized third-party sellers or resellers are not eligible for warranty coverage.

What's not covered

  • Surface appearance — please read before purchasing. CAN Bus Shields are manufactured components that are not painted, powder coated, or finished for cosmetic purposes. Minor surface imperfections from the manufacturing or shipping process are inherent characteristics of these materials and are present on every unit we ship. This is expected and normal. Products that show these characteristics are not defective and are not eligible for a return or warranty claim.
  • Improper installation — please read before installing. This product must be installed following our provided installation guide. Damage resulting from incorrect installation, forced fitment, or modifications made during installation are not covered under warranty. If you are unsure about any step of the installation process, stop and contact us at support@millercat.com before proceeding. Do not guess.
  • Damage caused by modification of the product
  • Labor, diagnostics, or incidental costs

Theft deterrence

The MCPROTECTED CAN Bus Shield is a deterrence device designed to discourage theft and make it more difficult for thieves to access your vehicle's CAN Bus system. Given the right tools, technique, or time, a thief can still take your vehicle. However, by having a CAN Bus Shield, you are significantly increasing your protection against theft. Similar to a car or home alarm, you are making thieves second-guess themselves and consider moving on to another target.

Limitation of liability

Miller CAT Corp is not liable for any consequential damages arising from the use of this product, including but not limited to labor costs, transportation costs, damage to other parts of the vehicle, or damage to persons, other property, or vehicles.

If your Lexus or Toyota has one of the following, it is likely you have a vulnerable headlight control module and a CAN Bus Anti-Theft Shield may be needed. Please see the fitment chart at the bottom of this section for the most up-to-date information.
