Toyota Tacoma 2.4L 2024-2025 MCX Engine Skid Plate

Not only did this skid setup cost less than the TRD factory skid, it is better quality. Exceeded my expectations. Thank you again.

I was looking to replace the OEM undercarriage covers with an actual skid plate on my 2026 Toyota Tacoma Off Road truck. My requirements were: 1) Must be a bolt-on replacement using factory threaded attachment points 2) Must be Corrosion Resistant 3) Must not require removal of the skid plate to easily access the oil pan drain plug or the oil filter. I became aware of the MCX skid plate through one of the 4th Gen Tacoma FaceBook groups. The stainless steel MCX skid plate met all of my requirements so I purchased it. It arrived promptly and was extremely well packed. It's a very simple install and I was able to accomplish that process without an extra set of hands. All of the fasteners were included with the skid plate and it bolted up precisely to the factory attachment points. Several days after I installed the MCX skid plate, I changed the oil and oil filter in the Tacoma. The access covers to the oil pan drain plug and the oil filter provide more than adequate room to facilitate the oil change, without the need to remove the skid plate itself. Given it's stainless steel, the skid plate should hold up nicely against the winter road salt in PA. I grabbed this skid plate from Miller Cat due to the stainless plate. It was simple to install and fit perfectly.

Easy installation, the new radiator shield is perfect. Quick shout out to frank, who took care of the issues I had on my original purpose much appreciated.

Fitment was perfect. There was a small issue but quickly corrected. I am very pleased!

Always amazed by the quality of their products. Had already purchased the cat shield and finally bought the engine skid plate. Processing and shipping is always a priority and received them within 2 business days. Very easy install, straight forward.

Love the product very solid , takes a bit of patience to line up all the holes, I did notice that mine is seems to be a little not exactly straight I double checked on my connection points everything's good to go other than that it's a beautiful fit I love it. Take your time it'll it'll eventually get on there start from the back work away forward. As you can see the left hand side seems to drop down a little bit other than that beautiful love it.

No frills. Does what it is supposed to do. Nice access panels for oil filter and plug access.

Service windows lined up great. Happy with the product and the unfinished steel look. Heavy duty at ~35 lbs.

Looked into all the companies that sold skid plates. What all truck companies sell now is a piece of cardboard. There’s no actual protection there. I loved that these from MCX were made from stainless steel and had access holes to change oil filter and drain hole for oil. Plus a lot more confident if I run over something. Was easy to install and all holes lined up exactly. Very happy with my purchase and this product

Nice stainless steel skid plate with good and hardware. Better access to oil filter and oil drain plug than other skids available. Also installed the cat shield. If you have a 4th gen tacoma with front sway bar disconnect, you'll have to remove the small factory plate that covers the sway bar disconnect mechanism. The MCX cat shield provides solid protection for the sway bar disconnect mechanism after it's installed.

Install was easy, the skid plate looks great! Only bummer was not being able to reinstall the front spoiler, but nonetheless, the peace of mind knowing my truck is protected is much more important.

Excellent fit and finish. Solid and well engineered, Only concern is the small allen screws for the oil filter and drain covers are a bit soft and easily strip if you over torque. Fine for my needs, but this is a new truck with free oil changes, so I take it to the dealer. Toyota service techs rounded them all when changing the oil. I take those covers off myself now before I take it to Toyota

I am totally impressed with the skid plate I received from Miller Cat Corp. The fit for my '26 tacoma trd sport was perfect. No wrestling with it to make it fit. Being stainless steel is what sold me. Their customer service is what will keep me coming back to them. Definitely recommend to anyone wishing to beef up their 4th gen tacoma.

Good product for peace of mind knowing you have some protection from catalytic converter teft. Install did not mention about needing to remove the factory shield for Front stabilizer disconnect.

Great quality product. extremely well made, clear install instructions and it fits perfectly. The Oil filter cutout is nice and large so you can get your hands in on the filter. bolted right up with minimal effort.

Connectors provided with the ss skid plate were not stainless. I would gladly have paid a few dollars more for ss fasteners. It would have saved me a trip to the hardware store. Everything did fit flawlessly.
